Attitude of Gratitude - Day 33
#AttitudeOfGratitude2018
#grateful #thankful
I am grateful for education and for those that work in it. I grew up around education. My mom taught school in Hardy County for 40 years having taught ins all 4 high schools in the county at one time or another. My Aunt Sandra drove the school bus for around 35 years.
What we in education do everyday is not glamours. However, we do educate the future leaders and other professionals of the future. We go above and beyond for our students and the students in our schools. We take pride in what we do.
We come early and stay late most days to insure that your child has the best. We even spend lots and lots of our own money to make sure that your child has what they need for school.
We often feed, cloth, give school supplies and more in this line. We are often much more than teachers such as janitors, cooks, counselors, secretaries, nurses, and the list goes on.
So before you go and get all upset that teachers are not doing enough you need to get all the facts. We do more than we should for students.
Please support teachers!
