I am grateful for the impact the President George H.W. Bush (President 41) has made on our Country as a whole.
The greatest impact was the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement). He was ambassador to the UN, US Liaison to China, Director of Central Intelligence, was in the US House of Representatives for the 7th District of Texas, was Vice-President under President Regan, and father of President George W. Bush (President 43).
He was married to Barbra Pierce who passed earlier this year. Barbra was a big supporter of Education and especially reading. She has PSAS about reading back in the 80s and 90s. He and Barbra had the longest marriage in presidential history at 73 years. They successfully raised 6 children.
Bush was a millionaire in the Oil Industry at age 40. He attended Yale and played baseball there getting to meet Babe Ruth. He supported prayer in school and was pro-life.
Today we in WV were given a day off of school because of a National Day of Morning in honor of President George H. W. Bush.
