I am grateful for surprises. Surprises are great with kids. I love to tell the kids to get in the car and as they ask where we are going say nothing. Gives me control of the situation. Also helps me take them places that I want to go that they don't really want to go. Sometimes when I am in charge of the kids and need to go somewhere I have to surprise them to get them to go with me. In the end it is a win win for everyone.

I chose kind by walking around the track with a student who was feeling sad.

I chose kind by volunteering to fix dinner for the family.

I am grateful for sunshine. I like the warmth that it gives. I like it when the sun is shinning and it is nice outside. That way I can send the kids outside to play for awhile to give me a break. It is very depressing when the sun is not shinning.

I chose kind by playing puppets with some students. We had lots of laughs and smiles.

I chose kind by hugging a student that was having a bad day.

I chose kind by fixing Austin's shoe before we went to school.

I am grateful for time. Time to share with others. Time to do what needs to be done. Time to remember. Time to live. God is the one that sets the time in this life. We need to live it to the fullest. Everyday is a gift from God that we need not take for granted. My dad use to joke and say that you will never know when the day will come that you will wake up dead. I never understood it till I got older. Time is a precious gift that we need to use wisely.
