I am grateful for surprises. Surprises are great with kids. I love to tell the kids to get in the car and as they ask where we are going say nothing. Gives me control of the situation. Also helps me take them places that I want to go that they don't really want to go. Sometimes when I am in charge of the kids and need to go somewhere I have to surprise them to get them to go with me. In the end it is a win win for everyone.
