I am grateful for school cooks. They do much more than cook meals for the students. They are there to listen to the students as they go through the meal lines. They make the students feel safe. They make the students feel loved. Often times they know more about what is going on in a students life than we in the classroom do. They put up with a lot of aggravation too to do their job. They have so many rules and regulations that they must follow and make sure are followed. It is not an easy job.
Thank you Cooks for all that you do for the students and our schools.
