Day 11 of #Thanks
I am thankful for Veterans. Both my Grandpas served in the Army. Grandpa Webster was in WWI and Today (11/11) marked the 100th anniversary of the ending of WWI on this very day.
My Grandpa Rittenour was in WWII. He never liked to talk about his service when I was a kid. When I started working in school he opened up to me about his service.
I tell kids now days that talking to people that went through something is better than reading it in any book. It is what I call a living history.
